Lincoln Heights Outreach Inc. was established as a 501(c)3 corporation in 2012 by a group of leaders from the Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church. The founding members wanted to create a place with activities and support services that would cater to the specific needs of the community. LHOI addresses the social, emotional, physical, mental, spiritual and economic well-being needs of the individual and family population in the adjacent and surrounding neighborhoods.
LHOI stands as a means to create and sustain critical public and private infrastructure elements developed by community leaders to support the neighborhoods in such areas as advocacy, networking, recreation, community health, job readiness and training, and youth and senior services. Additionally, LHOI promotes business development through the local Chamber of Commerce and educational training and financial services provided by the Small Business Administration and other local financial institutions.
To maximize our impact, LHOI is connected to and supports local grass roots organizations, neighborhood nonprofits across the community at large and partners with foundations, government, business, and citizens for the overall good of the community.
